Our small-batch Planetary Candles are made with pure beeswax and carefully selected, responsibly sourced ingredients that are directly connected to the planets that rule them. Plus, each 14-oz candle was hand-poured at an auspicious time for its respective planet and includes an affirmation to help you call in that planet’s power. 100% of the revenue from these candles goes directly to survivors of gender-based violence through our partnership with Gifted by FreeFrom. And just like all of our physical products, each candle is packed and shipped by survivors of gender-based violence making a living wage of $38.45 per hour for their labor. In addition, these candles were hand-poured in Los Angeles and made with care by Earthy Corazon for CHANI x Gifted.
What sets each Planetary Candle apart:
- Sun ☉ — This candle supports your identity and ability to shine. It’s made with natural beeswax and is topped with St. John’s wort and gold flakes. It was poured when the Sun was exalted in Aries, in the 10th House of career and public image.
- New Moon ⚫ — This candle supports new beginnings and any intentions you are setting. It’s made with white beeswax and is topped with mugwort and milky quartz. It was poured with the Moon in Cancer (in the 1st House of self and personhood) trine the Midheaven (in the 9th House of dreams, astrology, and wisdom traditions).
- Full Moon ⭘ — This candle supports culminations and revelations. It’s made with white beeswax and is topped with mugwort and milky quartz. It was poured with the Full Moon in Cancer (in the 1st House of self and personhood) trine the Midheaven (in the 9th House of dreams, astrology, and wisdom traditions).
- Mercury ☿ — This candle supports how and where you communicate. It’s made with natural beeswax and is topped with vervain herbs and fluorite crystals. It was poured with Mercury in rulership in Gemini, in its joy in the 1st House of self, body, appearance, and vitality.
- Venus ♀ — This candle supports love and pleasure. It’s made with natural beeswax and is topped with coriander and lapis lazuli. It was poured with Venus in exaltation in Pisces conjunct Jupiter (in rulership in Pisces) and Neptune in the 11th House of friends, alliances, and networks.
- Mars ♂ — This candle supports courage and motivation. It’s made with natural beeswax and is topped with dried nettles and iron. It was poured with Mars in rulership in Aries in a partile conjunction with Jupiter in the 10th House of career and public image.
- Jupiter ♃ — This candle supports wisdom and abundance. It’s made with natural beeswax and is topped with willow bark and black tourmaline. It was poured with Jupiter in rulership in Pisces conjunct Venus (exalted in Pisces) in the 4th House of home, ancestry, and foundations.
- Saturn ♄ — This candle supports boundaries and commitment. It’s made with black beeswax and is topped with holy basil and amethyst. It was poured with Saturn in rulership in Aquarius (during the final months of its stay in the sign for another 27 years) in the 1st House of self.
